Chris Clasen - President/Owner

 

Chris was 6 years old when Freelance Staffing opened its doors in 1980, so one might assume he grew up in this family-owned business. While obtaining a business degree at the University of Miami, he had the opportunity to work at many customer sites during his Christmas and summer vacations. As a result, Chris learned the industry from the ground up. He soon came to realize how critical the staffing industry is to American manufacturing. Upon graduation, Chris worked full time in the retail golf business for two years and part time at Freelance, before joining full time in 1998. In 2002, he purchased the business and took over as president. When Chris is not working hard building Freelance Staffing, he is working hard on his golf game carrying a 1 handicap at Indian Hills Golf Club in Stillwater.

Melissa Flug - Lead Staffing Coordinator, Sales Manager

 

Melissa started in the Staffing Industry in 2001 as a Staffing Sales Professional. She not only did interviews and placements but also did company tours, orientations and was certified to conduct on site drug testing to ensure faster placements.

 

She took a break from the Staffing Industry in 2005 to work in the Electrical industry and quickly worked her way into a position that was created specifically for her. Melissa then went on to Sales and Marketing for the most awarded property management company in Minnesota. Melissa joined Freelance Staffing in February of 2010 and is our Lead Staffing Coordinator.

 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and has a passion for music.

Michelle Ley - Staffing Coordinator

 

Michelle is the newest member of the Freelance Staffing team.

 

Her friendly attitude, willingness to take on any task and her drive to succeed make her a valuable addition to the team at Freelance.

 

She has 8 years of customer service experience. She has also received her CNA License and has volunteered at Fairview Hospital in Wyoming, MN.

 

In her free time she enjoys playing and watching sports.
